Alpine District Camporee 2012 June 1st-3rd 2012
Camporee is a District wide event with Troops, Crews and Teams from Alpine District gathering for a weekend competition! Camporee will be packed with great events and skill testing activities. The 2012 Camporee will include events that will make this a jam packed weekend for your Troops.

Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills (IOLS) June 1st-2nd 2012
IOLS will be offered in conjunction with Camporee. Adults participating in the training will be unavailable to assist their troop during the training. Please ensure your Troop has sufficient trained leadership on hand.

About Alpine District
The Chief Seattle Council is divided into 12 districts with leadership provided by the District Executive, District Chairman, and the District Commissioner. Except for the District Executive, the committee is staffed by volunteers.
The Alpine District serving the greater communities of Fall City, Issaquah, North Bend, Sammamish, Snoqualmie, portions of Newcastle, and the Renton Highlands since 1996. The Alpine District serves approximately 33 Cub Scout Packs, 24 Boy Scout Troops, 11 Venturing Crews, 10 Varsity Teams and 1 Sea Scouts Ship.
Annual events within Alpine District include:
- Camporee
- Klondike Derby
- Cub Scout Day Camp
- Friends of Scouting
- Unit/District Recognition Dinner
- District Pinewood Derby
- Scouting for Food
- Scouting Field Day
- Cubapalooza (Cub Scout Family Camping event)
- Webelos Woods (Weblos Den & Boy Scout Troop camping & learning event)
- Various Training Events throughout the year
District Meetings: The Alpine District Committee meets at the Sportsman Club in Issaquah on the first Tuesday of every month at 7:00 pm. All are welcome. The voting members of the Alpine District consist of volunteer representatives from each chartered organization having at least one BSA unit, plus annually elected members-at-large who in turn elect the District Chair. |
