Get your Crazy Science On!
Smoke, lights, bangs, acids, bases, pressure, fire, water, what is this all about! Cub Scouts will have days of learning hands on about science from all around us. Archery, shooting sports, and field sports will be the only rotations that will be the same.
Camp format and dates
Alpine day camp runs Tuesday August 9th to Thursday August 11, 9am to 4pm, Friday August 12 9am to 2pm
How to register
Pack day camp coordinators need to collect paperwork from each family and adult leader attending camp. Each scout family and adult leader needs to register online, adult leaders need to provide Youth Protection Certificate before attending. What: An overnight camping activity to explore What Boy Scouts is like

A chance to meet Local Troops and Scouts
An opportunity to work on Cast Iron Chef, Camper and Castaway signoffs.

Cost: Webelos Scout - $35, Parent - $5, Webelos Den Leader - $5
Boys will rotate through Skill Stations Saturday morning and afternoon. (fire building and safety, first aid, backpack cooking,…)
Parents will learn about the BSA program, the transition to Boy Scouts, essential camping skills, gear choices, ask Scoutmasters questions and have a tour of camp to see the stations.

About Alpine District
The Chief Seattle Council is divided into 12 districts with leadership provided by the District Executive, District Chairman, and the District Commissioner. Except for the District Executive, the committee is staffed by volunteers.
The Alpine District serving the greater communities of Fall City, Issaquah, North Bend, Sammamish, Snoqualmie, portions of Newcastle, and the Renton Highlands since 1996. The Alpine District serves approximately 33 Cub Scout Packs, 24 Boy Scout Troops, 11 Venturing Crews, 10 Varsity Teams and 1 Sea Scouts Ship.

District Meetings: The Alpine District Committee meets at the Sportsman Club in Issaquah on the first Thursday of every month at 7:00 pm. All are welcome. The voting members of the Alpine District consist of volunteer representatives from each chartered organization having at least one BSA unit, plus annually elected members-at-large who in turn elect the District Chair.
