Purpose - The purpose of the Eagle Board of Review is for a group of adults, representing the District and Unit, to conduct a formal critique of the Eagle candidate,including the Eagle Project, Eagle Application, participation and understanding of the scouting program and his belief in God. The Board will seek to determine the character of the candidate and if he lives by the ideals of scouting.

Eagle Service Project - An Eagle Service Project should be of significant magnitude and that it be special. It is expected that the project is a learning process and the scout should be stretched to achieve a positive and lasting result. A clear demonstration of service to others and leadership is crucial.

The following items, if appropriate to the project, are requested along with the"Life To Eagle Packet" when submitting the Packet to the Aquila District Advancement Chairman for signature. The Sponsor (with phone #) and two Unit signatures should be secured prior to submitting to District. (Note: It is very wise to bind everything into a three ring binder at this time so as to keep the papers organized and together.)
