Shooting Sports PDF Print E-mail

Pigott_Rife_Range_2Shooting sports provides fun and adventure for our Scouts. It teaches skills, discipline, self-reliance, sportsmanship and conservation - all elements of good character that Scout leaders strive to instill.

In proper balance, shooting sports supplement the troops' program at our summer resident camps. After summer camp, our ranges at Camp Pigott continue to be used.

Our shooting sports committee is dedicated to offering Boy Scout Shooting Days, which includes rifle, shotgun, archery, and the bonus of tomahawk throwing. In addition, we offer a number of adult trainings for the purpose of expanding the number of Boy Scout Shooting Days, where once trained we invite you to help us with future shooting sports days.
