Cascade District Den Chief Training – May 2012

Who: A course for Den Chiefs, Den Leaders, Cub Masters, Scoutmasters, and District volunteers
What: A fun introduction to a Den Chief’s roles and responsibilities with ideas for successfully completing the job
Why: This is a course that will help the Den Chief (and unit leaders) better understand and act on the Den Chief’s roles and responsibilities within the Troop, Team, or Crew and in the Pack and the Den and better understand the Den Chief’s relationship with adult Den Leaders.
- The Den Chief who completes this training will be better able to function in the position.
- The Den Leader who attends will learn how to make the best use of a Den Chief.
- And the Scoutmaster, Varsity Coach, or Crew Advisor who completes this training will better understand how to support their Scout as he/she serves as Den Chief.
When: Thursday, May 24, 2012 – 6:50PM-8:30PM
Where: Bellevue LDS Stake Center, 14536 Main Street, Bellevue, WA (just up the street from Hopelink and the old K-Mart Shopping Center)
How: Please come in uniform and bring paper and pen for taking notes
Note: This course is one of the requirements to receive the Den Chief Service Award
