Greetings Commissioners!  Providing direct service to units & logging visits/contacts with UVTS is a "must do" step in our JTE process.  

How are your units doing?  Are they active, thriving, growing, and delivering the promise of Scouting to their members through relevant, dynamic programs and quality leadership?  Do they have the vision and leadership to continue doing so?

You are the essential communications bridge between the unit leaders and district and council volunteers whose mission is to do whatever is necessary to help unit leaders succeed.

We all work hard to bring youth into our movement.  Logically, we don't want to lose them.  Great Program = Increased Membership and Retention. 

We are using the National Council's Unit Visitation Tracking System (UVTS).  There is a learning curve to using any system.  Please be patient and do all you can to learn the system. I've found that the time of day can make the difference in being successful in logging your visits.  You must log each visit individually.  Best not to wait and log an entire month's of visits at once.    

To use UVTS, you must first log on to your MyScouting account. 

This is the link to the commissioner page on the national website.  The button for MyScouting log-in is in the upper right hand corner of the page.  If you discover that you are not allowed access to the UVTS, that means you are probably not registered as a commissioner.  Dual registration is required and it's easy.  Contact your District Commissioner for assistance.  He/she will be able to help you get this fixed.

If you experience trouble with the National online form, please use our council form, which requires no login.  Logging your visits is a "must do" step in our JTE process. But please...  first try to use the national UVTS.   If the visits aren't recorded...we won't get credit toward meeting our JTE goals!
