About Sea Scouts PDF Print E-mail
The Chief Seattle Council delivers the Scouting program to 78 Sea Scouts (December 31, 2009). 10 ships are used as the Scouting program platform registered in the Scouting districts of the council. 3 ships use the council sea base, east of Gas Works Park on Lake Union.

To supplement the service provided by each Scout district, the council has organized the Skippers and Mates Committee. The committee provides monthly training for it's adult leadership, in addition to providing 3 council events; The Fall Rendezvous, The Mert Wells Regatta, and A Bridge and Ball.
