Electronic Distribution of Newsletters

The Chief Seattle Council distributes the E-TOTEM Newsletter electronically.  This fast and efficient means of communication is available to all interested parties.  We encourage you to sign-up to electronically receive this publication by going to our home page and entering your email address in the box on the right under "COUNCIL HAPPENINGS" (click here).  Links to previous E-TOTEM newsletters are below.

Besides the E-TOTEM, the Council also has several other electrionic newletters, such as, newsletters for the Aurora, Orca, Thunderbird, Cascade and Sinclair districts; a Commissioners newsletter; and a Venturing newsletter.

We realize that your interests and personal information change over time, therefore, we allow you to change your profile at any time, including the ability to add or remove yourself from a distribution list.  To change or create your profile to receive or discontinue a newsletter, click on "Member Login"' in the upper right corner.  If you are already registered, enter your username or email and password. You can then select "My Profie" in the upper right corner to update contact, membership, E-mail lists, and other information.

If you have not yet registered for the Council Website, select "Register".  Once you are on the registration screen follow these steps:

• Enter your first and last name (middle name is optional)
• Enter your email address
• Select a user name
• Enter and confirm a password
• Enter your birth date (this is required so that we can ensure that the Website database only contains data for users 13 years of age and above)
• Enter optional address, BSA registration, district and Scouting program data
• Select desired newsletters, for example, The TOTEM Council Newsletter
• Click on "Register"

An email will then be sent to you.  Your clicking on the link in that email will complete the registration process.

Whenever a new publication that you select in your profile is available, you will receive it automatically.
