Training
The Training Continuum PDF Print E-mail
Why training? The short answer is because it will make you a better leader, and that will make your unit better for you and your family. Boy Scouts of America recruits adult volunteers to lead youth as they develop into adulthood. There is a purpose behind every activity we do in BSA. The program requires trained adult leaders and leadership training for the boys, young men and young women who participate and will ultimately benefit. training-steps
Want to get started immediately
Did you know that you can create an account even if you don't have your BSA ID handy right now?  You can skip that field and come back to enter it tomorrow when you have it handy

Did you know?  "New Leaders Essentials" course has been replaced with "This is Scouting" training.  So if you were looking for this under the old name, now you know!

Come to Round Table, find out what is going on.  Meet people in the know who are eager to help you be successful at delivering the scouting promise.  See the calendar for monthly date (typically second Thursday at 7:30pm) and location.

Training is offered on both the district and council levels.
Visit the Chief Seattle Council Training Page for more information on Wood Badge, the Program and Training Conference, Trainer Development Courses and other opportunities.
