Sinclair District: BSA    serving families, serving youth

Judging by the number of youth involved in Scouting in Kitsap County in 2010, there has been no drop in appeal over the 100 years of the Boy Scouts of America’s existence.  Some of the merit badges may have changed – gone are blacksmithing and path finding, replaced with the likes of nuclear science and orienteering – and the uniforms have been updated, but the guiding principles and objectives remain true to those laid out by Lord Robert Baden-Powell over a century ago.
