Scouts from other districts are welcome. Some badges will have pre-requisites to be completed before the meeting, some will have actions to take after, so do not expect a completed blue card at the end of each meeting (unless the Scout has done the homework early.)
For Citizenship in the Nation, the following requirements must be completed outside of the workshop -
Requirement 2: visit a National Landmark, state capital, tour a federal facility, or research a national monument
Requirement 3: Follow the news for 5 days and discuss a national issue
Requirement 6: Select a speech of national importance and discuss
Requirement 8: Write a letter about a national issue to one of your elected officials.
Scouts who bring completed work can finish the merit badge; other scouts will receive a partial.
