Camp Pigott is located at the foothills of the Cascade Mountain range. Highlights include a large lake, a climbing tower, campsites with flush restrooms, COPE courses (high and low), a spacious dining facility, and a new shooting sports area. Camp Pigott Programs:
Boy Scout Summer Camp Adventure and unforgettable experiences lie ahead for Boy Scouts and leaders at Camp Pigott! Many merit badges can be completed at the archery and rifle ranges, the aquatics area, and the Craftlodge. Take advantage of the challenging COPE course or climbing wall. Camp Pigott Schedule. 2010 Adventure Troop Summer Camp Scouts who can't go with their troop or want an extra week of camp can go as an Adventure troop. They are grouped with other single scouts and supervised by adult camp staff. The fee is $230, with a $15 discount for scouts also attending 2010 summer camp at Parsons or Pigott with their troop. Cub Day at Camp Pigott Cub Day at Camp Pigott, which is May 1, 2010, is an opportunity for Cub Scouts, parents and leaders to experience camp for a day. During this action-packed day, groups will investigate the camp areas, take part in craft projects, explore the nature trail, and visit the archery and BB gun range. Cub Day at Camp is open to all Cub Scouts, including Tigers. To register, see the 2010 Cub Day at Camp Brochure. Eleven Year-Old Scout Camp Eleven Year-Old Scout Camp is designed for young men in their first year of Scouting in an LDS troop, and any other interested 11-year-old Scouts and their leaders. This camp is an exciting opportunity for fathers to spend special time with their sons. This camp is an excellent opportunity for Scouts to work on advancement, find out how camp works, and gain leadership skills. To register for the July 2-3 weekend, see the 2010 11 Yr. National Youth Leadership Training The National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) conference is an exciting, action-packed 6-day program designed to provide youth members of the Boy Scouts of America with leadership skills and experiences they can use in their home troops and in other situations demanding leadership of self and others. Beginning November 1, 2009, all BSA troops can sign up for Camp Parsons and Camp Pigott for 2011 camp season! A non-refundable registration fee of $125 is required and reservations are made on a first come, first served basis. Both Camps Parsons and Pigott are still accepting registration for 2010 but because of the camps’ popularity, now is the time to insure a spot for 2011! Click here for the reservation form. Project COPE The COPE Course comprises a series of outdoor challenges, from basic group initiative games to more complicated low-course and high-course activities. The course is designed to foster personal growth among both youth and adult groups. Objectives include building teams, solving problems, making decisions, and developing trust.
