Camp Pigott at the Cascade Scout Reservation is a new camp located at the foothills of the Cascade Mountain range. Highlights include a large lake, a climbing tower, campsites with flush restrooms, COPE courses (high and low), a spacious dining facility, and the Fort Omache history center. Mountain Men are often seen, providing Scouts the opportunity to learn the ways of the wilderness and join their clan. Camp Pigott Programs:
Boy Scout Summer Camp Adventure and unforgettable experiences lie ahead for Boy Scouts and leaders at week-long summer camp. Many merit badges can be completed at the archery and rifle ranges, the aquatics area, and the Craftlodge. New this year, the week of July 19 through 25th will be filled with the same great stuff any week of scout camp provides, but will also give Catholic troops the option of participating in activities such as daily Mass, evening vespers, and a special camp service project.
For more information or to sign-up see the 2009 Boy Scout Summer Camp Reservation Form, the 2009 Boy Scout Adventure Troop Reservation Form, or the
2009 Summer Camp Leader's
Guide. COPE Tower Consent Form (2 sided)
2009 Adventure Troop Summer Camp Scouts who are unable to attend summer camp with their troop can attend camp as part of the Adventure Troop at either Camp Pigott or Camp Parsons. Scouts sign up individually for this program and are grouped together with other single scouts to form that week’s “Adventure Troop”. Adult camp staff members are assigned to act as the adult leaders for the Adventure Troop. This is also a great opportunity for boys who are going to summer camp with their troop but would like to go for a second week on their own. The fee is $220 for the week, but scouts who are also attending summer camp at Parsons or Pigott with their troop in 2009 receive a $15 discount on this second week. For more information or to sign up, see the Adventure Troop Registration Form. 2010 Boy Scout Summer Camp Registration is now open for 2010 Boy Scout Summer Camp! Spaces tend to fill fast, so don’t wait to lock in your desired week and campsite. To sign up, see the 2010 Summer Camp Registration Form. Cub Day at Camp Pigott
