Camp Pigott

Camp Pigott at the Cascade Scout Reservation is a new camp located at the foothills of the Cascade Mountain range. Highlights include a large lake, a climbing tower, campsites with flush restrooms, COPE courses (high and low), a spacious dining facility, and the Fort Omache history center. Mountain Men are often seen, providing Scouts the opportunity to learn the ways of the wilderness and join their clan.

Camp Pigott: Pre-Camp Leader Meeting

Troops attending Camp Pigott summer camp in 2008 should plan on sending a delegation of key leaders to the pre-camp leader meeting on Saturday, April 19, 2008, at 11:00 a.m.

The gathering will be held in the Camp Pigott dining hall. This is a perfect opportunity to become better acquainted with the camp and resolve any lingering questions you may have. Please contact the camp director via email to RSVP for this event. Send your responses to camppigott@earthlink.net.

2008 Boy Scout Summer Camp

It’s not too early to start planning ahead for next summer!  Registration is now open for 2008 summer camp at Camp Pigott and Camp Parsons.  For more information or to sign up, see the 2008 Boy Scout Summer Camp Reservation Form.  Online registration is coming soon!

Eleven Year-Old Scout Camp

Eleven Year-Old Scout Camp is designed for young men in their first year of Scouting in an LDS troop, and any other interested 11-year-old Scouts and their leaders. This camp is an exciting opportunity for fathers to spend special time with their sons. This camp is an excellent opportunity for Scouts to work on advancement, find out how camp works, and gain leadership skills. For more information or to sign-up see the Eleven Year-Old Scout Camp Brochure.

2008 Adventure Troop Summer Camp

Scouts who are unable to attend summer camp with their troop can attend camp as part of the Adventure Troop at either Camp Pigott or Camp Parsons.  Scouts sign up individually for this program and are grouped together with other single scouts to form that week’s “Adventure Troop”. Adult camp staff members are assigned to act as the adult leaders for the Adventure Troop. This is also a great opportunity for boys who are going to summer camp with their troop but would like to go for a second week on their own. The fee is $205 for the week, but scouts who are also attending summer camp at Parsons or Pigott with their troop in 2008 receive a $15 discount on this second week. For more information or to sign up, see the Adventure Troop Registration Form.

2009 Summer Camp

April 1st, 2008 will be the first chance to sign up for 2009 summer camp at Camp Parsons and Camp Pigott. This Early Bird registration period is open only to troops that are currently registered for 2008 summer camp at either Parsons or Pigott.  General registration for all troops will open on May 1st, 2008.  You can download the 2009 Scout Camp Reservation Form and mail it to us with your $120 nonrefundable deposit in order to reserve your spot for 2009.
