USA Archery Level 2 Instructor Course
When: March 4-5, 2017 USA Archery Level 2 Class
Please see class description for class hours. Early arrivals may overnight in the Rock Friday night March 3rd (plan on arriving after 7 PM).
Where: Camp Pigott, 24225 Woods Creek Road, Snohomish, WA 98290, (360-586-2065) Our classroom will be in the large yurt and sleeping will be in the Rock (both are located behind the shower house and below the archery range).
Cost: Level 2 Class $75. Meals are included in the course cost. $40 late fee for registration after February 16th.

Minimum of 6 students, Maximum of 12 students
You must be BSA registered, 18 years old to take the Level 2 class, and 18 years old to run an archery range.
Course fees will be fully refunded if cancellation notification is received by the Scout Office before February 16th, or if class is canceled by Council. Fees will not be refunded after February 16th due to advance ordering of course materials. Course fees may be transferred to another person. Call the council office if a fee transfer is required.
USA Archery Level 2 Instructor Class Camp Pigott March 4-5, 2017
Becoming a certified USA Archery Instructor not only provides you with valuable knowledge and hands-on skills, but also boosts the quality of our BSA archery program. Instructor Certifications are recognized by both USA Archery and the National Field Archery Association. Please plan on volunteering for a minimum of 2 shooting sports days at Camp Pigott in the next two years to both hone your skills and support Chief Seattle Council’s shooting sports programs.
All course materials and equipment will be provided (books, tests, paperwork, stretch band, bows, arrows, etc.). Participates should bring, pen, highlighter, comfortable footwear/clothing, weather appropriate clothing. Training will involve classroom, indoor, and outdoor settings. Bring sleeping bags (we will be sleeping in the Rock – staff housing cabin/classroom) to spend Saturday night at Camp Pigott.
You do not need to be a Level 1 Instructor to take this class.
Level 2 Instructor Class - Saturday and Sunday, March 4-5, 2017. Level 2 candidates must attend both days. Saturday 8 AM through Sunday approximately 8 PM.
Level 2 course includes intermediate shooting steps, how to run a beginner to intermediate archery program as well as how to conduct a Level 1 certification course. Students MUST attend the entire class to be certified.
Note: Level 2 certification will not be processed without current membership in USA Archery, NFAA or ASA, a successful background check and successful completion of SafeSport Training.

Bring proof of membership, or a completed membership form and check made out to USA Archery to class.

Normal background screenings will be processed in 3-5 business days. However, some background screenings may take longer. Background screenings are mandatory for Coaching Certification at Level 2 and higher. This process must be completed before being certified. The cost is the responsibility of the individual. Bring proof of successful completion to turn in at the beginning of class.
We ask that you commit to volunteering for at least two upcoming Shooting Sports events at Camp Pigott in the next two years.
