Chief Seattle Council Service Center and Scout Shops are closed until April 9th. Our staff are working from home, and can be reached via email.

A Venturing Summit Award Court of Honor was held for Katie Brunn on 12/21/16.  Katie was the third Venturer in Chief Seattle Council to earn this award and the first female in the Western Region's Area 1. Previous Summit earners Jeremy Felty and Trenton Allison were present to give the Summit Charge.

The Summit award is the highest award available in the Venturing program and is comparable to the Boy Scout's Eagle. Some of Katie's accomplishments include staffing National Youth Leadership Training and Wood Badge,  leading the Council Contingent Crew at the first VenturingFest at the Summit Bechtel Reserve in West Virginia, receiving training as a Kodiak Guide, attending NYLT Academy and completing over 140 hours of community service. Her Summit project was rebuilding the shooting range at Ensign Ranch.

Katie is currently serving as Chief Seattle Council's Venturing Officer's Association President and is also the Crew Guide for Venturing Crew 909.
